Hi

i am trying to get a FW sound card for an affordable price that is in my actual life around 150-300 euros depending of the features.

If you have any advice or spot a nice deal on eBay oe your best friend is selling one please let me know.

What i need:

-Min 4 analog inputs (of which min 2 with mic-instr. preamps)

-Min 4 analog outputs (of which 2 to headphone amplified output)

-Firewire in and out

-Low latency (mind reader with lookahead feature would be nice)

-Linux supported (see http://www.ffado.org/?q=devicesupport/list)

-It has to look sexy

-Portable and robust

examples: Edirol FA66/101 - ECHO Fire4 - TCelectronics konnect/live - etc

I don t mind used stuff

hi Doc

funny enough i ve noticed that card just yesterday but... this pisses me off a bit cause all and i mean all the producers tend to "hide" the fact that a pair of i/o s are spdif, tapco doesn t even offer a view of the backside of the card.. now tell me how is it possible that such an important detail is often not so easily to be found and afaics not given at tapco..

tx

Simone

EDIT: yes i confirm there are only 2 analog inputs, it s on the .pdf with the specs
