stryd_one
I'm kinda puzzled here... It definitely should not do that. Can you show me a photo/video of the core with the one pot connected, all other AINs grounded?

stryd_one
Sweet, thx man. Maybe you could also upload your firmware's source? this should be the same one you ran "make" on, to build your hex file; in fact to be sure if you could do that again before you upload it that would be great. jamie3
hey stryd, the source is contained in here http://www.jamiea.ca/ain64_din128_dout128_v2_0.zip. the only files i modified were:main.h - set AIN_MUXED_MODE to 0main.c - Added my own name to the LCDain64_din128_dout128_v2_0.zip
jamie3
aaaand the pics....pic #1 is the connection of the pot to the Core, each unused pin is grounded on the breadboard. Red = Vd, Blue = Vspic #2 is the grounding of J5(B) i believe (ain2 of the core)pic #3 im sure you know what that is.DSC00672.JPGDSC00669.JPGDSC00668.JPG
stryd_one
Try setting the number of pots in the .h file, grounding the pins closer to the pic, and losing the breadboard if you can.... It's midnight so I'll look again tomorrow when my brain is on :)

nILS
You've got the space in your design - why not go with a 40x2? More is better when it comes to visual feedback.

jamie3
hey guys, havent been here in a long time. been busy rennovating my house.anyways im back to work on my controller. i've decided to keep things simple, and the reason being is because a friend of my gf owns about 40K in machine shop equipment so i am able to finally experiment with my front panel. i decided i am going to make things simple, use the mixer briefly for a few gigs, and see what is missing before i add more buttons, lights, etc.here is the panel cut. this weekend i wll be cutting the holes for the knobs.hi res image herehttp://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ZdR1AjzO6Bk/STxXSUm32-I/AAAAAAAAADE/uaSGgbghcsE/s1600/DSC02803.JPGif u cant see the image visit my blog www.jamiea.caFYI, the front panel is made from aluminum. I picked up a piece of aluminum maybe 60" x 25" at a local metal shop for about $20 CDN. So essentiall i can build two front panels from the piece of aluminum i purchased! yippee!
