This was a weird time. I was shaking from withdrawal.

Funny thing happened in the time of the transition: For quite some time the new and the old IP could be used to get to the chat. To two different chats though. At some point they got merged and people would show up in the list of the one where they weren't logged in and vice versa. Messages got sent to random instances of the chat as well. Strangely funny :-)
