pythonusr
MIDIbox is completely new to me. What would be a good guide for a basic synth setup, and what would it cost me to build (roughly) for the part and such? I was looking at a few of the SID bassline videos on YouTube and I figured if I could build something half as good, it'd be worth my time. Twin-X
Your best start would be ucapps.de and read the sid stuff. Then read the wiki and then the forums.
stryd_one
Welcome aboard python. Once you've had a good search around like the guys suggested, you may have some specific questions, and we'll help you out with those - just make a thread and let us know :)Be aware though - midibox is a DIY project, so you are expected to do it yourself. Posting a question before searching for the answers yourself, will usually attract an unpleasant response ;)
pythonusr
Thanks guys. I realize this is gonna be pretty difficult to build, but it'll give me something to do as a hobby, and hopefully once I'm done, something to be proud of.I'll read up on how to build this, and if I have any questions I'll be sure to post. Thanks again.
