Midibox CV no gates from J5

Hi,

I've built a midibox cv using a core and an aout_ng.  I've compiled and uploaded the latest midibox_cv code from SVN and I'm getting nice CVs coming from the aout_ng.  Alas, I cannot get any gate signals from J5.  I have changed

#define ENABLE_J5 0

to

#define ENABLE_J5 1

as is required to get the gates working.  But no luck.

Any ideas where I should be looking to fix this?  I tried uploading the midibox_sid application to see if I could get gates from that, but I then get stuck on an setting up control surface message, as I've only got a minimal 4 button control surface.

Any pointers will be much appreciated.

So, after you changed the J5 statement, you re-assembled the code?

Then uploaded to your Midibox?

That's probably not necessary. The idea is to use the zip files on ucapps.de, as they have been tested. Cowboy developers like me may have broken the SVN versions ;)

Thanks for the replies.  I've tried uploading the reassembled code from SVN, the preassembled 1.2b release and the 1.2b release after making the suggested changes and reassembling it.  So far, no gates!

Are you sure J5 is behaving normally as a test? (IE, not with this app?)

I'm not sure about that.  Is there a test procedure for J5 (I've had a good look around, but I didn't find one)?
