ToFiC
in french: http://www.midibox.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=france;action=display;num=1057744683Excuse me first for my english :).I've made an midibox 64, and my problem is that only pots wired to input 2 & 3 of my 4051 are working well. The other does not respond any more.It like that on every 4051 (I've 16 pots on 64 that works).I've been looking for a solution for 4 days, and i begin to stress >:(.If anyone could help me...thanks...ps: I've post some photos of the front panel on french forum

pay_c
What do the pots send? Do they send random values, just zero or just the maximum?
ToFiC
Working pots have good values (0 => 127), the other does not send any value.
pay_c
Just to make sure the problem is on the AIN module: Pull it of the core and touch the jumper on the core (the ins for the AIN) with your finger. The values should jump up and down and make weird things. Then you at least can be sure its the AIN.If so: Clamp the *functioning* inputs to ground and try again with the other pot Ins (a trimmer between 0 and 5V should be handy there)./edit: Did you check the voltages of the not-functioning pots? What´s their value?
