DJ Trago Posted March 30, 2009 Report Share Posted March 30, 2009 hi there im on the verge of compleation of a stereo setup consisting of 1 core mod, 2 6518 sid mods, a din mod, a dout mod, almost constructed power converter from the c64 psu and im just waiting on the arival of some rotary encs from the good man in the Netherlands. to put this simply i just wanted some one to confirm that this will work, for my powersupply iv just taken the layout from the mbhp_8xsid_c64_psu_optimized.pdf and cut it down to 2 sids and a core, maybe this was wishfull thinking but will it work? and if not could someone direct me to a thread or page explaning this set up further, any help would be lovely but no hateing please :)heres my v simple idea;<a href="http://s121.photobucket.com/albums/o239/Air2air/?action=view¤t=sidwireing.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o239/Air2air/sidwireing.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

DJ Trago Posted April 3, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 3, 2009 ok just a couple more questions ;) 1. the 2 caps that are in parallel with vc and vs ports on the SID boards, is this definatly the correct way? parrallel and not serise?2. i have no MD port on my boards from smashTV, should i just ignore them?
