SID chip sound differences

hello!

i built a mb-6582.. but i have to the do last step.. SIDs!

is normal that sids sounds differently? expecially the volume of 6581s is more loud..

there is a way to regulate it?

Yes, it's normal. Especially different revisions and even SIDs from the same batch can sound different. Putting a resistor to ground parallel to the signal path will lower the volume of the channel that's too loud.
