Steven_C Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 Hey, I have found a way to get the panasonics to stop hitting the bottom stops so hard... I cut a strip of thin rubber (from an old inner tube from a tyre, but there would probably be better materials to use than this) made holes for the mounting screws of the faders to go through, and sandwiched the strip between the faderbodies, and the front panel, so that the rubber protruded into the travel of the faders by about 1mm. (a bit fiddly, takes patience to get it right!)This works well, and I don't grit my teeth from unneasiness when the faders hit the bottom anymore!I will send a photo to TK to post as soon as I borrow a digital camera from somewhere, or get film for my camera, and scan the prints on my scanner! (my current digital camera is very bad quality!)hope you are all having fun building this stuff, from Steve.
