mikee Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Hi all, newbee here.I read somewhere (can't remember where) that the Midobox 64 was capable of more than 64 pots.My question is this: how many pots and switches are actually possible?thanks all Quote
nILS Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 The forum search (really handy ya know) answers a query for "more than 64 pots" withhttp://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php/topic,8526.0.htmlAlso that's the info on http://ucapps.de/midibox64.html Quote
mikee Posted August 21, 2009 Author Report Posted August 21, 2009 Thanks for info NIls.So max is 64, like it says on tnhe box. Wherever I saw that more than 64 pots was possible must be a bum steer. Thanks a lot for reply. Quote
nILS Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 With some additional magic and coding nearly nothing is impossible, it's merely a question of "is it really worth the trouble?" - most of the time using an additional core will be the easier solution. Quote
liinnerd Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 you could use encoders next to the pots if you don't want to use a second core. Quote
