I've been over this site a few times now, i just need some detailed information on what parts i need or how i can get a power supply for my midibox64. Sorry if i've missed anything obvious.   So far i have all the modules built (except the sil headers are backordered from mouser so i don't have the single row ones) and my JDM is getting decent voltages, 12.9 on the first one.. and dead on for the rest, so i figured i should probly start building a psu and trying to make a case for it all.

you could try a transformer, you would need something like 30:1... Though i recommend you to use a simple walladapter..

If you dislike wall-adapters and would like the same cable/connection as hardware synths/pc's have (what's it called again...IEE-.... i forgot :D ), you could also build a toriodal transformer inside the casing. These don't produce that much heat.

what voltage/milliamp wall adapter do i need?  was it 9v 500ma or is it something else?  Thanks much for the help.

On the core page, Thorsten recommends:

Either the output of a 7V-10V transformer, or a wall adapter can be used. 500 mA is recommented, especially if a backlit display is used,

So a 9v 500ma should work great.
