holdenw1 Posted July 2, 2010 Report Share Posted July 2, 2010 (edited) Hey, So I just finished Step 3 from the build guide (basically just soldering all the parts up to the Heatsinks) and I'm trying to do a voltage test before I go on. But I have no idea how :( I have my Multimeter on 10-DCV and I touch the Black (negative) probe to the J2 and the Red to the J2 +5v and I get Zeros. I try it with a ton of other combinations and I never get anything. I'm doing something wrong but I have no idea what. nILS Posted July 2, 2010 Report Share Posted July 2, 2010 Okay, a shot in the dark here: Are the voltage regulators mounted? Is the power supply plugged into the wall? kaleaf Posted July 2, 2010 Report Share Posted July 2, 2010 Thats kinda like what I had when I was building mine. Not sure if its the same but have a look at the trimpots and be sure they are good maybe wiggle them with your hands and test for juice.
