midibox_lc_v1_6d recompilation issue (encoder not working)

Hi!

I'm here to help a french midiboxer making is great midibox LC works. (but who has trouble with english ;))

When he uses the hex file in the zip package midibox_lc_v1_6d.zip, his encoder and jog wheel are working. But when he recompiles the sources, even when changing nothing, the encoder and jog wheel aren't working anymore. (He need to recompile in order to activate meters and led digits).

He says the config in setup_midibox_lc matches is setup.

So I though that the hex in the archive wasn't compiled from the sources?

Anyone have a clue on this, and how to setup the encoder so they could work?

Hey hey pilo!

That might be an issue with the latest release of MIOS, where the encoder handler changed. If the .hex in the archive was still compiled with the old setup, it would run on his (potentially) old MIOS, if he recompiles it, it won't.

Tell him to try upgrading MIOS and then uploading the newly compiled app.
