MrTorsionTorque Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 Dear friends, Maybe some one could help me with advice how to make a 3 octave capacitive keyboard using MB platform. Something like EMS, EDP or Buchla type keyboards. All I need is 32 flat capacitive keys, 2 keys for octave switching and an encoder for midichanel selection. And I wish it'll be USB powered and USB midi. Sorry for my English. Quote
nILS Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 Hiya MrTorsionTorque, what you can do is to basically just use the touch-sensor part of the motorfader design on ucapps. Reference: http://ucapps.de/mbhp/mbhp_din_touchsensors.pdf To power the whole thing via USB and have USB midi, you'd want to use a core32 module. For the 32 keys you'll need one DINx4, and another DINx1 for the encoder and the two buttons. Quote

Correct me if I'm not right, so all i need to do is to connect STM 32 to DINx4 and connect 32 copper pads to DIN ins? or do i have to buy some sensor chip e.g. qtouch? Quote
