commodoreeightyfour Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 Hi, This is gonna sound ridiculous, but I like the aesthetic of a floppy drive on my synths and grooveboxes. Is there anyway possible to substitute a bankstick with a floppy drive or other removable storage device? Quote
nILS Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 A bankstick is removable. So you can put them into whatever-kinda case you want. Like a 3 1/2" floppy disk. With the SMD version of the 24LC512 that's definitely doable :) Real floppy disk: Short answer: Neh. Long answer: Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeh. Unless you spend a substantial amount of time on writing a driver and fixing the hardware and more programming and yadda yadda. Quote
