padjoe.thornton Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Hi I'm building a midibox sid with one core and one sid, I want to build the minimum control surface but I'm finding it difficult to find plans for this, all I seem to get is, that you only need the LCD, 9 buttons, and one rotary encoder, mounted on perfboard, along with a DIN module' Ok I can purchase a DINX4_V2 - Kit but don't know where to go from here, I'm an electronics student in Dublin and am building this for a project, I love electronic music and have wanted to build something this for a long time, I have a quadrasid soft synth but it doesn't seem the same, This would be my starting point and in future I'd want to build one with multiple sids also if you could send me a link on exactly how to add the banksticks, Thank You Quote
nILS Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Shouldn't an electronics student be able to figure that out by himself? :poke: http://ucapps.de/mbhp_bankstick.html http://ucapps.de/midibox_sid_cs/mbsid_v2_din_default.pdf http://ucapps.de/midibox_sid_cs/mbsid_v2_dout_default.pdf All these files are linked to from the MIDIbox SID v2 User Manual ;) Quote
padjoe.thornton Posted January 22, 2011 Author Report Posted January 22, 2011 Thank You I was just having a little trouble scaling it down to one core and one sid, I really appreciate your help Thank You Quote
nILS Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Scaling down is easy - you just leave everything out that you don't want :) Quote
