goyousalukis Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 Hey I just got a T6963C Graphic lcd real cheap. I know this isn't the best display to use but I just want to hook it up and play with it. My question is this: in the power schematic with the MAX759CPD:http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp/mbhp_glcd1.pdfshows a component L1 - what is this? Also do you just supply the max with +5v and ground? Finally, the board that this lcd was mounted on came with a NMV0512SA DC-DC converter, a 7805 and another component labeled NS-206 -I haven't id'd this yet. Can I use this to get the proper bias voltage?Thanks..Justin Quote
TK. Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 Hi Justin,L1 is a small coil and absolutely required to get the DC converter working. And yes, the MAX chip has to be supplied with 5V. However, since your LCD module already comes with a converter, you don't require this circuit. Just measure the output voltages if they are ok...Best Regards, Thorsten. Quote
