freddy
Resending, 'troubleshooting' wasn't a really good place for this.Hello Thorsten, possibly others, I'm newbie to MIDI and I started from scratch with the most basic MIDIBox Plus. I've decided to create Martin's PCBs, however I've found inconsistency with Thorsten's schematics. According to notes, the PCB is based on 'older' version of the schematics. Also, according to Martin's PCB notes, it's slightly extended (more MIDI outputs/thrus). Since Martin didn't reply to my mail, can anyone supply me with the schematics of 16pot version Martin routed the PCBs from? Thanks in advance,-- freddy
TK.
Hi Freddy,so far as I know there isn't a special schematic available for this PCB variant, I guess that Martin routed the additional parts directly without creating a connection diagram (-> due to the big effort)However, the old circuit of MIDIbox Plus 16 can be found here: http://www.ucapps.de/midibox/midibox_plus_16_old.pdf, but it won't give you much more informations. The documentation of Martins PCB is already perfect.Best Regards, Thorsten.
uclaros
Hi Freddy!I don't think that being a newbie is a good reason not to go to MBHP...I think it'll be easier to build the small modules!I also think that very soon after u build a 16 pot one, you'll want more-and-more pots and buttons so I suggest go for a MBPH16 or something!!! freddy
I'm new to MIDI/MBHP, not electronics, so this isn't a big issue for me ;-)anyway, JDM is already built, core, SID etc are almost ready, just to get SID chip(s) or C64 :-)don't worry, guys, I'll join you soon ;)cheers, freddy
