Seggl Posted December 26, 2011 Report Posted December 26, 2011 Hi, I read here: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=midibox_lc&s[]=mackie When Mackie made the LC, and then the MCU, they made the protocol public. Does this mean the mackie protocol is public? I could not find any link or information about it. I saw a few reverse engineered things but nothing official. Does anyone know more about this? Best Regards Quote
TK. Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 You haven't searched in the Wiki (keyword: "Mackie Control", first hit): -> http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=midiboxlc&s[]=mackie&s[]=control Direct Link to the official MIDI Implementation: http://www.thomann.de/prodbilder/151261_manual.pdf Best Regards, Thorsten. Seggl Posted December 27, 2011 Author Report Posted December 27, 2011 Thanks. I found this document, too. But as it is just saying logic control everywhere I didn't think it was the same as the mackie? Quote
TK. Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 Logic Control was created by Mackie - they renamed the device to Mackie Control a few months before Emagic (the company which developed Logic Audio) was bought by Apple. This happened many years ago, therefore you won't find so many guys who know the history ;) Best Regards, Thorsten. Quote
