John E. Finster Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 hi, i just got a bunch of resistor networks for the DIN modules, but they have 7 pins (6 resistors + 1 common pin). i can´t return them, so i am wondering. is it possible to cut off the unnecessary resistor or are the resistor networks destroyed if i do that? thanks and greets
ilmenator Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 You can cut off the legs so that they don't require holes on the PCB. However, I don't think you can cut through the body of the device without destroying the remaining resistors. But then, why don't you just try? It's a cheap item, so even if you destroy one it won't hurt too bad...
John E. Finster Posted February 9, 2013 Author Report Posted February 9, 2013 thanks, i´m just gonna try that. i don´t care about the resistors, just don´t want to destroy any of the remaining parts that are attached to the resistors (like my midibox  ).
