tonedef Posted April 24, 2013 Report Posted April 24, 2013 Is this possible, or do I need to get another AINSER64 board? I'm building a keyboard controller. I have 1 AINSER64 with all the 64 inputs being used, can I chain a kb module to it? In other words, can I simply connect the J1 output from a kb module to the J2 input on my AINSER64 board?
Spirit Posted April 24, 2013 Report Posted April 24, 2013 Hi hi as the link you posted "kb module" its says you need to connect it to J8/9 from the LPC module. because a Keyboard uses BUTTONS so a Digital signal and not a Analoge signal like Pots or Faders uses. /Spirit

Well you correctly linked the connection diagrams for KB module and AINSER64 module - the answer is in there. I'll make it easy for you: The AINSER64 module connects to J19 on the LPC core board, whereas the KB module connects to J8/J9. So, no chaining possible / necessary.
