SG888
Hi I bought a Sammich from the flea market unfortunately it had issues - I fixed one related to LCD already. My question is this - from the ensemble menu when I nav to SIDS, I can never select a second SID - is this another issue? The seller claimed two SIDS installed, and I saw them when I fixed LCD. I'm new to this, but from reading the V2 manual it looks like I should be able to config/setup the second SID for more instruments/poly right? But I only ever see 1*** in the display and cannot seem to change the status of '2' (is it already 'on') (I assume that would be SID 2?) - I'm maybe missing something basic here at the concept/architecture level so would appreciate any input. I also tried uploading the tone test hex file but the MIOS app reports "wrong number of bytes" midway through the transfer - this looked like it might verify status of second SID. I've got some SIDS lying around but don't really want to rip open the whole build again to replace one if I can help it, as the case and screws are a bit fragile (soft screws and some hairline cracks that don't need anymore stress). Cheers for any clues guys :) Edited September 2, 2013 by SG888

Hawkeye
Right, the MBSID plattform offers up to four stereo engines, each consisting of two SIDs (the Sammich SID has "only" two SIDs in one engine). Have lots of fun with it - it is a great synth! :-) Many greets! Peter Edited September 2, 2013 by Hawkeye
