djsegler Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Do I really need the LCD display to achieve full functionality of any of the projects? Is it really only another form of visual feedback or do I need it for programming etc? If I build a unit that uses several cores, then I would have to have an LCD display for each core which doesn't make sense. I would rather do without the LCD unless I really have to have it. Please advise. Quote
LO Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 No its not needed, but it is very nice so you can see what is going on and you can name your pots etc (if you have a bankstick!) However you can setup all your pots on the virtual midibox software. Its up to you but I would get 1 LCD if you can afford it (even if its just cause it looks cool!)LO Quote
