AOUT module 10V reference chip suggestion

Hello,

A suggestion for an excellent 10V reference: the REF01 chip. It's quite expensive but I built Marc Bareille's MCV and it works great. Maybe something to implement on the AOUT module.

EDIT: I saw the preliminary schematics of the AOUT now in the mios download section so now i know TK has already used the lm324.

Hi Klass,

I'm using the MAX6007B as 2.048V voltage reference and the LM324 as amplifier to extend the voltage range. This makes the AOUT module more flexible for different CV requirements - there is no need for a second voltage reference.

Good to hear that it works fine already. I'm looking forward to play around with it. Especialy virtual lfo etc to rock the inputs of my MS'ses would be awesome

I'm now using the MCV628 with negative gate software to drive my MS10 and MS20. Maybe in the future it'll be the Midibox which does the job :).

I´m looking forward also VERY !!

I have the Formant Pro at home (built it two years ago). The MSS 2000. It´s a very big analog modular synthesizer and several AOUTs would be something like patch-saving that stuff.

@TK: If interested google for the MSS 2000 (very good book about that baby).
