Guest infrared Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 Hey guys,I was wondering where I can find some cheap knobs (under 20 cents each). I'm just trying to build a cheap midi knob box and need some cheap knobs (about 64 of them). I may just end up using the bare shaft of the pots if can't find anything..jason Quote

doc Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Hi Folks,I always use the "Soft-Touch"-Knobs from CONRAD (Germany). They even fit on the rotary's shaft.Take a look at Conrad at http://www.conrad.com The article number is 715867 for the blue ones (other colours also available). They are not very cheap. About 77ct per 100 (but they look more expensive!). The cheapest ones from Conrad are 717495. - 49ct per 100.They are cheap and so they look ;)The cheapest knobs I know are not really knobs. I don't know the exact englisch word. It is a rubber part for putting wires through it. You can put it on the shaft. Looks strange but works great. The part number from CONRAD is 526932. Search on the webpage. Theres a photo of them. The cost: 6 ct per 100 or 7ct per 10.Hope this helps. Quote
