Antichambre
Hi, It seems not new. YMF825 (SD-1) Year of release: 2011 FM: 16 channels (4-op, 29 waveforms) Used in: Home appliances (Chinese market) This appears to be a version of MA-3. It has no PCM or Analog Lite capabilities. Using 2-op instruments does not give extra channels, thus it's probably best to use 4-op instruments.https://gist.github.com/bryc/e85315f758ff3eced19d2d4fdeef01c5
channelmaniac
I found the creator's web site, but nothing about any stock or ordering... http://uda.la/fm/fm-e.html RJ
channelmaniac
I sent an RFQ off to a place to see how much it would cost for their minimum order of 100 chips. We'll see if they come even close to the target price I set. I think this would be a fun project to redo - pending talking a friend into doing the PCB layout. :)
