tom303 Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 I found the following part in the partlist:for example ALPS STEC16B02 - This is an detented encoder. But in the PDF "mbhp_dinx4_16enc_alps_stec16b03.pdf" is written 16b03 NOT detented!!!Do I have to use the detented or not detented one? What is the different?Thanks,tom303 Quote

Guest psytron Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 detented means when you turn the encoder you can feel little bumps as it turns. Quote
