Stigmata Posted December 3, 2002 Report Share Posted December 3, 2002 Hi there!Just tried to change the device-number without any luck.With the SYS-EX :F0 00 00 7E 46 [DEVICE-NR](00) 0D 04 00 [NEW DEVICE](01) F7.And then I tried to change the MIDI channel and use the:F0 00 00 7E 46[DEVICE](01) 0D 02 00 [CHANNEL] (01) F7.Doesnt work!Hmmmm ???Take care!ChristofferIts no problem to change the midi channel when the device is 00. I already changed it on some files, but possibly not everywhere.The correct SysEx string to change the device ID is:F0 00 00 7E 46 [DEVICE-NR](00) 0D 03 00 [NEW DEVICE](01) F7Thereafter the MBSID should answer with:F0 00 00 7E 46 01 0F F7Best Regards, Thorsten.
