Guest gadarby
Hi all, Make no mistake, I know next to nothing about electronics. I have been ordering parts from rapid electronics by typing in the search engine things like "10uf Electrolytic" etc.when the parts arrived I noticed that they also have voltages on them. So for C5 (according to the smashtv pcb) I have a 10uf 25v Electrolytic. For C7 I have a 1Uf 63v Electrolytic. Have I ordered the wrong things?I would appreciate any help you guys may have. Many thanksGareth
SounDuke
I think they're ok, I didn't check the voltage measures and the module works well. The capacity value expressed in mF is obviously important
pay_c
That´s OK. The voltage there is just a max. The cap won´t hold up more. If you need a 10uF/12V e.g., you also can take 10uF/25V 63V 100V. No prob, those caps only get bigger with the voltage.
