ladybug Posted December 8, 2002 Posted December 8, 2002 as i understand it only electrolytic capacitors need to have voltage measure on them, is that right ??if so : - what voltage to the 2200uF El.Capacitor on the MIDIbox8 power supply ?? - what voltage to the 10uF El.Capacitor on the MIDIbox8 itself ??

goyousalukis Posted December 8, 2002 Posted December 8, 2002 Hopefully one of the smart guys here will jump on and correct me if I am wrong. From what I have observed, as the voltage goes up, so does the size of the capacitor. I used a 35v one for the 2200uf and a 25v for the 10uf on my midibox16 - I wouldn't go bigger than that, allthough I think you can go smaller. I would assume that as long as the voltage of the capacitor is more than the voltage of the power supply - you would be good. Justin
