Screaming_Rabbit
Did you consider using old mouse parts for your jog encoder? The advantage is, you can control the turning resistance of the wheel better and you can manipulate the pulse/turn count of the encoder pretty easy.Greets, Roger
Rowan
Hi,I keen to use an optical encoder because the feel is MUCH nicer that standard encoder due to no mechnical switch contacts and the resolution is up 400 times better (I kid you not, up to 10 000 ppr).Besides, I have an optical encoder which I ripped out of a broadcast DAW controller from the Jog wheel, which I want to use as well.I'll do some more researchRegardsRowan
