Guest Vercengetorex Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 Oh my goodness, this is the most advanced controller I have ever seen :ohttp://www.jazzmutant.com/lemur_overview.phpMultipoint touch screen mated with an 800x600 LCD with built-in graphics for different "control elements".This thing looks incredible. JE5 Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 Wow, that looks incredible! I wonder how much they'll retail at? Quote
Sephult Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 I wouldn't be suprised if it ran for $1200+Looks kewl however.... Quote
smashtv Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 Great concept, bad implementation. Why not put a micro-size PC in there running MAX/MSP? The cool "organic" GUI could easily be done with MAX, You could have real-world I/O not just OSC.The hardware is all available off the shelf, including the touchscreen:http://www.elotouch.com/products/displcds.asp.Bonus: Extremely powerful real time audio processing is easily possible with MSP, and very powerful video processing can be done with the Jitter add on. Best!Smash Quote
smashtv Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 Must see for the newbies: AudiopadBe sure to watch the videos of it in action........ ;DBestSmash Quote
Tanstaafl Posted October 14, 2004 Report Posted October 14, 2004 heeheehee...looks kinka like a Quiga (probable misspelling) board:)gb Quote
Sephult Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 The audiopad is a great concept, now that is innovative. It talks about how the objects are magnetically controlled. It reminds me of this new button control surface for the PC I was looking at. The panel had buttons you could arrange in any setup you would like, and you could produce strings and other types for simplifying your programs. If I can find it again I'll post it. Quote
lalo Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 hi !they said that will be 2000euro/2400 dollars.....too expensive....at that price tag you could buy a touchscreen notebook...the most interesting things too me is OSC protocol...any chance that we will have some DIY OSC controllers? :)lalo Quote
