banneduser Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 I can't get the MIDIbox to see any banksticks.I've hooked up one like the ucapps page said to, but MIDIbox won't see it. Are banksticks easy to destroy. I had 6 hooked up in an array questionably and turned the power on. Do you think that did them in?

pay_c Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Did you check all the voltages *before* you put that ICs in the sockets? You should always do so. This way you can be sure you didn´t switch the polarity or so.With 5V/GND it should be quite possible to destroy some LCs. If the supply voltage was switched you can be pretty sure about that.
