Hi there!

It's been a while since I was busy here and I don't even know if there's still something going on here. But today I finally got inspired to start a new DIY project. I have a eurorack synthesizer case with a Behringer XR18 as my main mixer, and I sequence my stuff with a Seqv4+. For controlling my XR18 mixer I use a XTouch midi controller and for extra visual feedback I use OsimidiStage with a raspberrypi and 10" touchscreen. This setup works quite well at home, but it's too complicated for live gigging, too much technique.

I've build some midiboxes in the past, so I was thinking of building my own mixing controller. Just 18 faders for all volume control, buttons for mute and solo and 16 encoders for controlling all aux and fx sends.

To have some visual feedback for the sends I would like to use rotary encoders with rgb ledrings, or rgb ledstrips. But this is new for me, so is there a ready made starting point or project for me to look at?

Any feedback appreciated!

Cheers,

Roel
