"Virtual display"

Hi,

Im about to start to build my MidiBOX LC, and have a question.

Would it be possible to make a program like Behringers "BCFview", that show a "virtual LCD" on a computer screen? Maybe it would be possible to use the "BCFview" with the MidiBOX LC?

The reason I ask, is because i have ha secondary LCD display for my PC that i hardly use(mostly for showing timecode and mixer). But if i could place it behind my MidiBOX and have the virtual LCD on it, i don´t have to implement two 2x40 displays on my box and i would use my secondary display more! :-)

Do i make any sense?

The whole tool.  Very easy to completely customize with MAX.

Probably just as easy with PD or the other MAX variants, but I don't know if anything but MAX will allow you to design your own graphics for the faders, indicators, etc.

Best!
