Guest Perka Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Hi, Im about to start to build my MidiBOX LC, and have a question.Would it be possible to make a program like Behringers "BCFview", that show a "virtual LCD" on a computer screen? Maybe it would be possible to use the "BCFview" with the MidiBOX LC?The reason I ask, is because i have ha secondary LCD display for my PC that i hardly use(mostly for showing timecode and mixer). But if i could place it behind my MidiBOX and have the virtual LCD on it, i don´t have to implement two 2x40 displays on my box and i would use my secondary display more! :-)Do i make any sense?/P Quote
Guest Perka Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 BTW, the BCFview uses the Mackie/Logic Control protocol. Quote
smashtv Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 This would be super easy to do with MAX (http://www.cycling74.com), and you could fully customize it to match the look of your box.Best!Smash Quote
Screaming_Rabbit Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Cool idea  ;D ... this BCF view downloadable somewhere?@SmashTV... did you mean to do the whole tool with max or just linking to the "BCF-view"? Quote
smashtv Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 The whole tool. Very easy to completely customize with MAX.Probably just as easy with PD or the other MAX variants, but I don't know if anything but MAX will allow you to design your own graphics for the faders, indicators, etc.Best!Smash Quote
