pay_c Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 :-/First: You need at least 12 Volt. So e.g. 8 AA normal batteries or 10 Nimh Accus.Second: The SID *with* CS needs good current! Without backlighting the LCD there should be still more than 400 mA needed (I think... not to sure about that). With 10 AA´s you have about 2000 mAh (Nimh Accus). So that sums it up to 5 hours running time (*about*). With 20 AA´s 10 hours and so on.So, yes, you can make it mobile, no prob, but it won´t run to long and the batteries needed are summing up to some amount of money&weight.Just make it both: Battery and wallplug powered. ;)Greetz! Nu-Audio-Science Posted November 8, 2004 Author Report Posted November 8, 2004 How about a 1900 mha battery pack that can be charged in the Axims craddle ? (Also very light and small) Quote
pay_c Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 ???no idea in fact. If it delivers enough voltage (12 Volt) no prb at all! :) Quote
