pay_c Posted November 8, 2004 Report Share Posted November 8, 2004 :-/First: You need at least 12 Volt. So e.g. 8 AA normal batteries or 10 Nimh Accus.Second: The SID *with* CS needs good current! Without backlighting the LCD there should be still more than 400 mA needed (I think... not to sure about that).With 10 AA´s you have about 2000 mAh (Nimh Accus). So that sums it up to 5 hours running time (*about*). With 20 AA´s 10 hours and so on.So, yes, you can make it mobile, no prob, but it won´t run to long and the batteries needed are summing up to some amount of money&weight.Just make it both: Battery and wallplug powered. ;)Greetz!
