sid sounds from C64 tunes?

since is it possible to have access to a lot of old C64 musics (High Voltage Sid Collection - http://www.hvsc.c64.org/) that will play for example in winamp with some plugin, i wonder if there is some way to "grab" the sound from these tunes and use them as a "base" to program Midibox sid sounds...

I don't think that this is possible for the really interesting sounds, since especially they are modulated by dedicated sound engines.

However, why not grabing the SIDstation sounds and release the patches to the MIDIbox SID library?

Don't tell me that this is too much effort - it's even much more effort to write tools which are doing this automatically ;-)
