Too many keys!

Hi everyone,

I managed to build a Core and  2 DINx4 module. My objective is to build a simple midi controller but with a pedal interface.

Here comes the problem: I wanted to use Coin Operated buttons with microswitch as keys, but their diametre is too far bigger than I expected and my pedal keyboard has to host at least 40 keys. well the panel comes a little too big! I was thinking to go for extreme modding on a Casio but mechanically this looks like a mad experiment. Have you got some Idea?
