1 Dout For MidiSID box w matrix = 70 leds ?

Am i right ?

I want to make a SID with matrix. If I understand the pdf correctly, with only one DOUT you can put the 54 matrix LEDs and there is still  room for 16 more LEDs, no ?

yeah sortof,

with 1 "doutx4"module  you can drive up to 32 leds.

in this case the matrix takes up 16 dout pins (actually 15 but i dont know if the 16th pin can be used), which leaves you with 16 dout pins...
