That sound (and other sounds in the song) comes from a Casio VLtone.

Set the user defined sound (adsr?) up for like 29997655 and it sounds like this......

I wanted to hit it with a hammer when that da..da..da volkswagon thing came out (or at least tear -that- button out with pliers just for fun), but not so much now after hearing this tune.......  ;D
