Davo
It occured to me that the midibox core should be able to handle capturing keyboard setup dumps (ie, from a Roland AX-7). I guess the MBSEQ provides something like this, but I'm not sure.Davo
Screaming_Rabbit
why not buy one of these on ebay?http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=23792&item=7308456923&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVWGreets, Roger
moebius
Hi,MBSEQ can't do stuff like this - And Roger is right, buying an old midi player is probably the cheapest and easiest way to go..---BUT - robinfawell has shown a GREAT DIY spirit, more or less learning ASM for creating his very own dedicated controller. He's working on piece of software that dumps Sysex strings from the bankstick - I'd guess, when he gets it working, he will share his code.See: http://69.56.171.55/~midibox/forum/index.php?topic=2984.msg19329#msg19329Bye, Moebius
Davo
A big problem with that thing on Ebay is that DD 3.5" disks are rather difficult to find now and the device most likely uses a weird format that isn't readable anywhere besides that device. The MBSEQ has code that looks like it could be tweaked to do what I'm talking about. Data could be dumped to and from a bankstick.Davo
cheater
I believe you can use typical 3.5" 2HD disks! Also, I think all of them just use FAT-12 (typical MSDOS disk format).
