Guest cyclops
I've moded the original MB plus 8 for using it as a 4 button MIDI footswitch. Please post any corrections since I'm new to this. The schematics are based on this thread.Download Schematics here
Guest cyclops
I'm planning to build this wit a Core_V2 module... do I need a DINX4 module if I only want up to 4 buttons?
goyousalukis
I'm sure Thorsten will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you should use the Core PCB to build this circuit. It appears as if it could be done, but looking at the schematics for the core module, I don't think it would be wise. You would have to tie some pins to +5 and to gnd that are different than the core. Also, pins 31 and 32 would have to be modified for the capacitors. Your modified schematic is simple enough that I would just build it on a vector board with solder pads. It should be small enough for your purpose I'd think.Justin
TK.
Correct - I would also build this simple circuit on a vector board, and with the upcoming v1.910 release the performance of MIDIbox Plus is exactly the same like for the MBHP based designs (the preliminary firmware is already available by request).Btw.: the schematic is perfect now :)Best Regards, Thorsten.
