Is there any way to erase the PIC?

I am just wondering what is going on with my core still - since the thing seems to be ok, but is booting back to MIOS 1.6 after loading 1.7 - maybe a hard PIC reset of some kind will make a difference?

Just use MIOS Studio, it's the most secure way to upload MIOS - something like a "reset" (or a memory cleanup) is not required
