etko Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Helo!Is it posible to use a LCD from Motorola Pager for MIDIBox?It is 4*20 character without backlight! Or maybe dotMatrix. Also, where can i find a datasheet and pin assigment for them. Anyone know the manufacturer of this LCD????

etko Posted April 26, 2005 Author Posted April 26, 2005 There is a chip behind the LCD (not on them) named SHARP LH5168SHN!On the back plastic of LCD is the label TM4168 642.
raphael Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 The SHARP LH5168 seems to be a static RAM chip (8k). Are you shure this chip is part of the display? Or is the RAM part of the pager? Will be hard to get the datasheet. Perhaps you can send a friendly mail to motorola...
