SounDuke
Hello, Here's a powering issue. I need to power on a Midibox SID with 2 8580, but I don't like the PSU arrangement. I have a power supply which delivers 12V and 6.3A. The current is very high, and my MBsid has a power consumption of approximately 800mA. Maybe some fuse protection? Thanks in advance

Maybe some fuse protection? Don't worry about that. Even if your power supply would deliver 100A, the Midibox would only draw 800mA. 6.3A are only the maximum current of your supply. But if you want some protection just place a 1A or 1.5A (delayed-action) fuse in the +12V line.Raphael
