Hi midibox tweakers

i am wondering about the functionality of the midibox sid.A 1 x midibox sid has 1 monphonic channel  and a 4 x has 4 mono or 4 polophony ? i know you could stack sounds maybe on 4 channels in realtime  but can it do like 4 x poly tricks or patch the 4 sids to same midi ch and then trigger as one patch . .  .? . . . . . i wondered if a very nice feature was possible where in future it has like Monopoly korg type setting where if you play 4 notes in a sequence it plays sid 1 , then 2 then 3 then 4 which is really cool for syncapated sequences .The vermona Performer also does this i heard.Very groovy sound. Can anyone explain the 4 vs 1 sid thing.Do i really need 4 if i use hardisk recorder anyway and dub stuff alot or does it offer polophony and ability to do pad sounds and  layers easiliy

I know it means you can have 4 monophonic sid sounds on 4 channels ?

Also ? has anyone combined midibox sid and midbox sequencer yet ? into one mad mad sid groove sequencer ?

so many questions :)

thanks for the inspiration with this mad mad device.

one sid = 3 oscillators = 3 note polyphony.

four sids = 12 oscillators (obviously) but the super-poly mode hasn't been implemented yet. though you can route midi events to the separate sids manually (each sid can be assigned it's separate midi channel)
