I can-t find any .jar file to execute !!

Hi, I donwloaded the mios aplication, required to upload the SOand the SID soft to the PIC but, the documentation explains that It runs double clicking the .JAR file . . .  well, I downloaded the .zip file wich contains the MIOS STUDIO and I can-t find any .JAR file in any directory. Can somebody help a bit here _ Thanks.  :)

you have java (runtime environment) installed? if not; please read the info on the (miosstudio) page befor asking questions.... i know that if you wanna upload stuff on your finally finished box, you can't wait for it to work, but still

with no java installed you will get a zip file with different directories and files; but with java the zip file becomes a jar file

if you do have it;  ??? dunno

jar is just a zip file renamed.

Ok, now I stand. Maybe I didn't install the right Java package. I will do it right know. Thanks !
