How much knowladge is needed for the LC?

Hi all!

I'd love to build the LC! The only problem is, that all the info on how to operate it went right over my head :-[

I'm not worried about building and soldering... I'm really worried about how much programming skills are necessary.

Should i just settle for the 64 version?

If you don`t need any special features, no programming skills are needed. The application is ready to use. Depending on your hardware (different LCDs or encoders) you may have to do some recofiguration (setting the right defines in main.asm) but no real programming.

The same applys to the MB64.

I just have one more question... (until i start building and i'll have to troubleshoot;)

Could i dedicate 9 buttons to triger midi events, like a synth would (or those pads, with wich you could triger samples...)?

Would i just have to set these buttons to do this, or completly reprogam a part?
