Hello!

I don't want to miss anything while i'm choosing, what options i want to control in Cubase, so i'm asking you guys for some advice... what would be the most handy ;)

For every channel i thought i'd want to control Mute, Solo, Record and panning, but for the main part, i don't really have any idea.

I found this (http://www.mackie.com/products/mackiecontrol/pdf/MCU_Steinberg_Overlay.pdf) and this looks like a pretty good start.

would you add anything else?

Thank you so much!

I'm building a 2xLC box for a similar purpose at the moment - I would tend to go with the LC design ammended to suit the overlay you have rather than 64 or 64E.

thx for the reply and sorry for the delay! i've been real busy in school :S

anyway... i'm kind of scared with starting with the LC version... isn't it way harder than the normal?

Well, personally I don't think it's any more easy/difficult than any other midibox. If you follow the standard box you don't need to edit any code. There's a bit of calibrating to do with the motorfaders ,you need to make sure you get all the diodes orientated correctly on the MF modules and you'll need to sort out a dual voltage power supply if using motor faders but apart from that....
